Elf vooraanstaande Cavaproducenten hebben zich verenigd in ‘Corpinnat’. Middels hun strenger gereglementeerde werkwijze onderscheiden ze zich van mastodonten als Freixenet en Codorníu. Hun mousserende wijnen worden volledig in de eigen kelders van de leden gemaakt, van uitsluitend zelf verbouwde, met de hand geplukte en biologische druiven.

Zo ook bij Sabaté i Coca, dat met de beeldschone Mosset een werkelijk fantastische mousserende witte wijn maakt van de traditionele xarel-lo-, macabeo- en parelladadruiven. Dankzij minimaal 38 maanden rijping in de fles heeft deze Brut Nature mooie brioche-tonen en een prachtige milde aanzet. Denk aan Vintage Champagne, maar dan uit Catalunya en voor een fractie van de prijs.

Proefnotitie

Verfijnde mousse, jeugdig en licht kruidig van geur met nuances van anijs, geel fruit en venkel. De smaak zet fris, sappig en droog in en eindigt aromatisch met een aanhoudende mousse.

Drinken bij

Fraaie, complexe mousserende wijn, goed te combineren met verfijnde tapas en salades.

Houdbaarheid

Nu op dronk, gemakkelijk houdbaar tot vijf jaar na de datum van dégorgement.
