Soave is er van zeer matig tot groots. De broers Sandro en Claudio Gini behoren tot de selecte groep topproducenten en maken een buitengewone kwaliteit. De wijn combineert een uiterst zuivere sappigheid met heerlijke frisse zuren, in tegenstelling tot de overrijpe en haast zoetige stijl die je ook in deze streek aantreft.

Het geheim van Gini? De beperkte productie, gezonde wijnstokken op vulkanische bodem van soms wel tachtig jaar oud en een vakkundige vinificatie. Dat levert loepzuivere witte wijn met sappigheid en frisheid op. Hier blijf je van doordrinken! De La Frosca geldt als een van de beste witte wijnen van het gebied. Wijlen Decanter Magazine-journalist Steven Spurrier zette deze fraaie witte wijn van de garganegadruif zelfs op grand cru-status!

Proefnotitie

Krachtige, rijke, droge witte wijn met verfijnde florale en fruitige nuances in het aroma. De volle droge smaak heeft een lange afdronk, met een frisse en aromatische finale.

Drinken bij

Krachtige wijn; geschikt bij vis in roomsausof gevogelte, maar ook heerlijk bij pasta.

Houdbaarheid

Op dronk vanaf het eerste jaar en te bewaren tot zes à acht jaar na oogstdatum.
