Het succesvolle Il Cason del Prato staat voor opwekkende, goed gemaakte wijnen uit de Italiaanse Veneto. Klassieker Pinot Grigio kan in de reeks natuurlijk niet ontbreken.

De druivenstokken groeien op kleirijke bodems in de omgeving van Lugana. Na de oogst en de persing volgt de koele vergisting in roestvrijstalen tanks, waardoor de pure fruitigheid en levendige frisheid optimaal behouden blijven. Een korte rijping op de gistresten geeft extra smaakdiepte.

De resulterende wijn geurt naar citrus, appel, perzik en lentebloesem. De smaak is lichtvoetig en sappig, met een aangename, soepele afdronk.

Door zijn toegankelijke en verfrissende karakter is deze Pinot Grigio heerlijk als borrelwijn, maar ook perfect bij lichte voorgerechten, vis of een frisse salade. Een Italiaanse witte om altijd in huis te hebben, zeker gezien z’n sympathieke prijs.

Proefnotitie

Subtiele, droge witte wijn met aroma's van bloesem, peer, meloen en perzik. Toegankelijk en sappig in stijl met puur fruit en milde zuren. De afdronk is zacht en elegant.

Drinken bij

Lichtvoetige, opwekkende witte wijn om te drinken als aperitief, bij de borrel of bij lichte gerechten. Mooi bij bruschetta met tomaat, salade met zeevruchten, gegrilde vis of pasta primavera.
