Een heerlijke droge witte wijn! Typisch Italiaans: niet al te uitbundig, wel sappig en met een flinke smaaklengte. Insiders beschouwen de azienda Monte del Frà als de beste producent van de DOC (Denominazione di Origine Controllata) Custoza. Deze herkomstbenaming is wellicht minder bekend dan de aangrenzende streek Soave, maar het succes van Monte del Frà is er niet minder om!

Heerlijk bij Makreel met couscous, tomaat en basilicum

Verklaarbaar, want de ambitieuze familie Bonomo doet er alles aan om de beste te zijn en gebruikt maar liefst zeven verschillende druivenrassen, waaronder garganega, cortese, trebbiano en friulano, die samen zorgen voor complexiteit in geur en smaak.

Niet voor niets staat deze aantrekkelijke wijn al jarenlang zeer prominent in de Gambero Rosso-wijngids, dé Italiaanse referentie voor kwaliteitswijnen. Bovendien is de Custoza een van onze bestverkochte Italiaanse droge witte wijnen onder de tien euro.

Proefnotitie

Volle, geurige droge witte wijn met een fruitig aroma (appel en perzik) en een ronde, volle en droge smaak. De afdronk is geurig en lang. Mooi en karaktervol!

Drinken bij

Een prima begeleider van verfijnde pastagerechten met paddenstoelen of vis, maar ook goed te combineren met gevogelte.

Houdbaarheid

Best van smaak tot twee jaar na de oogst.
