Probeer ook hun rode Nizza maar eens. In ieder geval is dit ook een puntgave gavi. Zinderend wit fruit, krijtstrak, limoenfris en prikkelend bitter.

Gavi geldt als een van de historische witte wijnen van Piemonte en wordt gemaakt van de cortesedruif. Die van Olim Bauda is bijzonder elegant, verfrissend en eetlustopwekkend.

De Bertolino’s oogsten de druiven in hun biologisch bewerkte wijngaarden met kalkhoudende grond. Eenmaal in de kelder zien ze af van houtrijping om het maximale aan frisheid en verfijning te behouden.

Toch heeft de smaak – naast de fraaie, milde zuren – ook heerlijk rijpe tonen van appel en perzik. Dit betekent dat de druiven perfect rijp en gezond zijn geoogst: precies op het juiste moment.

Een knap gemaakte wijn dus! Drink ‘m solo, als verfijnd aperitief, of bijvoorbeeld bij een bord geurige pasta alla vongole of romige raviolo met scampi.

Proefnotitie

Verfijnde droge witte wijn met rijpe appel en florale nuances in de geur. De smaak is fris en rond van structuur en eindigt aromatisch met een soepele afdronk.

Drinken bij

Mooie wijn bij salades en koude visschotels, maar ook een prima aperitief.

Houdbaarheid

Nu op dronk; goed houdbaar tot drie jaar na oogst.
